Well, spring has sprung once again and the birds are chirping loudly.

You look at your Calgary backyard and see a Landscape that is either a bunch of dirt or an old existing yard that you have been dying to do something with for years.

Well, the first thing you should do is call a professional, or start planning yourself.

From our experience, we have been Landscaping in Calgary for 10 years, there are a few elements to each Calgary Landscape that are extremely important.

First of all, style.

Most Calgary folks want a naturalistic style. I guess Calgary is close to the mountains, so many people are looking for that kind of flavor in their homes.

The Landscape brick we use is from a company called expocrete and is local to Calgary. They have a really good product that they stand by and last.

The natural stone we use is found about 4 hours away from Calgary in a town called Kimberly and is a super good browny, coppery beige color that compliments almost any landscape.

Retaining walls can be built out of similar materials and can serve your Calgary landscape by putting some thought into the shape and how they compliment the rest of your Calgary backyard landscape.

Gardens are the same, they should be thought of an art and should flow smoothly throughout the yard.

These things form the structure of your Calgary Landscape.

My favorite and the things that I feel create the 'wow' factor in Calgary Landscapes are Ponds, Waterfalls and lighting.

These things are becoming a must have for almost all yards.

They are becoming super economical and there are some super talented builders out.
